The study dealing with the technique of playing and counting simultaneously. I start with basic quarters and go through every value, creating hundreds of practical variations. On the CD's, I play and count each rhythm at various slow tempos. I also explain and discuss many counting techniques.

I have mixed the CD's in a stereophonic manner, where my voice is on one side, and the drum sound is on the other side. This allows you to vary the volumes.

It has been proven that strong counting technique leads to higher efficiency in sight-reading. Your ability to master new compositions will improve tremendously!!

The Jeff Indyke Progressive Odd-Time; Funk; Rock and Fusion Play-A-Long CD Series

These CD's are specifically geared for the drummer or percussionist to develop their playing style in various formats. These are my own original full arrangements. I have recorded them with no drum part. I have included a few reference percussion parts, but for the most part, the Drumming will be totally up to you!!

Since some of these arrangements incorporate more than one time signature, I have included time charts to follow along with. These arrangements are very hip rhythmically and will stimulate total individual creativity. For a reference aid, I have also included the tracks with some interesting drum parts.
